This session is designed as a venue for human rights defenders to articulate recommendations and demands to the U.S. government, other governments and international organizations.  This will be a first airing and discussion of their recommendations with the larger group of human rights defenders, policy makers, diplomats and experts present at the Summit.  These recommendations will be included in the final conference Plan of Action.
